زندگی روٹھ جاۓ گی

ایک دن یوں ہی ہنستے ہنستے 
زندگی روٹھ جاۓ گی
سانس ٹوٹ جاے گی
وقت کے اندھیروں میں 
روشنی کھو جاۓ گی 
ہر پہر جاگتی آنکھیں 
مستقل سو جائیں گی 
ایک دن وہ  آیے  گا
میری ساری ہستی بس 
خاک ہو جاۓ  گی

Summary Medical Camp Nallah 30th June 2013


  • Its was another camp organized by Shajri welfare Trust ® in one of the remote villages  of Islamabad
  • Camp started sharp on 5:30 p.m.
  • Theme of this medical camp was same as previous medical camps i.e., providing free medical advice, free medication, free blood grouping and free diabetes and hypertension checking.
  • 65 patients were checked in 2 hours.
  • Majority of the patients were old age women and children.
  • Contrary to other general ailments, there was good quantity of patients with allergy.
  • Another rarity in this area was an old lady of the age  more than 100 years, who presented for the loss of vision in right eye and decreased vision in left eye along with Acid peptic disease
  • A complicated neurological case was referred to hospital.
  • With the local co-operation and with efforts of shajri trust it became another success story.

SUMMARY MEDICAL CAMP HERDOGHER 23-06-2013

  • Camp started at 06:00 p.m. at a school building.
  • It was a 2 hour camp, from 06:00 p.m. to 08:00 p.m.
  • It was collaboration between Shajri Welfare Trust® and a local organization.
  • More than 100 patients were treated in 2 hours
  • Free medication was given to most of them.
  • Free blood sugar test, free blood group checking, free blood pressure checking was also done.
  • Special children and dermatology advice and treatment were given by the doctors who worked in relevant specialties.
  •  A new awareness technique, which previously never was used in our medical camps, was introduced.
  • We spread awareness about blood donation, blood pressure and diabetes on multimedia projector in lawn of the venue.
  •  On spot otoscopy (ear examination with a device) and opthalmoscopy (eye examination with a device) was also done
  • The major portion of the patients was women and children, for them we set different stations for the ease of patients.
  • Male and female checkups were arranged differently by male and female doctors respectively.
  • The main diseases were hypertension, diabetes, general body aches, upper respiratory tract infections, gastroenteritis, otitis , skin diseases, lumbago, sciatica, hepatitis etc
  • Overall the camp was another success story in way of completing the mission of SHAJRI WELFARE TRUST®.
  • People in large number were benefited from it.
  • Medical Department of SHAJRI thanks all the volunteer doctors for their time and support
  • We thank local volunteers for their efforts
  • Certificates of appreciation were given to all the volunteers.

MEDICAL CAMP DADOCHA—16th JUNE, 2013

• Camp started at 09:00 a.m. sharp.
• Free medicines for almost all the common diseases were given.
• The common presentations were Hypertension, Diabetes (both type 1 and type 2), gastroenteritis, Upper respiratory tract infections, Acid peptic diseases, anemia, and many other common symptoms like fever, cough, weakness, generalized body aches etc.
• The major problem of this area was compliance, specially women don’t use ant hyperglycemic and anti hypertensive medications.
• We offered free Blood pressure monitoring.
• Free of cast Blood sugar random was also checked.
• Few people were referred to hospital for further investigations and specialist care.
• An addition to our camp was blood group checking.
• We checked free blood groups of people.
• Awareness about blood donation was also spread to the patients through verbal and written means.
• More than 90 people were checked.
• Medical department thanks all the donors, volunteers and shajri team for their help and support. Without which it would have been impossible.
